Protected media is content that is not freely public. It may be viewed only with permission, a rule or a specific context.
A user may request access, and the owner or the system may approve, refuse, limit or send the case for review according to the rules.
Access may be temporary, context-limited or revoked. If access is revoked, old places should not silently remain as bypasses.
Protected does not mean shareable. A person may have the right to view content without the right to send it to others.
If there is suspicion of abuse, repeated viewing, pressure or violation of private/protected rules, the system may increase risk and apply restrictions.
